Malibu High School Senior Francesca Seely took 1st at the Ventura Classic last weekend and then went on to dominate in her heats at the WSA in both short and longboard U18 divisions. Her scores were the highest of the day in LB 9.5 and 9.0 and her shortboard final heat boasted 8,0s and 7.0s.
Frankies final in shortboard started strong with a five turn combo set taking it all the way to the shore. She sealed the deal with a backside snap in the final seconds of the heat.
This is Frankies first comp of the season at the WSA. She was the 2013/2014 WSA season conference champ and went on to win WSA Championship last year as well as the NSSA Gold Coast Season Champ and NSSA WC Explorer Women’s Champion in SB 2013/2014.
